“The creative process is like unleashing the senses so they can reach their destination.”
Britta Johanna Echtle is in her element when exploring the healing benefits of art and design with an emphasis on color psychology. Her work bridges the gap between aesthetic experiences and human flourishing, helping individuals and organizations harness the power of neuroaesthetics and design thinking. She serves as a color consultant, curator, neuroarts practitioner, art and design consultant, educator, author, and creative professional.
Originally from the Seattle area, she was lured to create homes in historical Winchester, England, where she began her career as a curator, and the exciting cultural center of Montréal, Québec to seek growth and inspiration. These life journeys led her to renew her sense of self and create a life of following her passion through color, art, design, writing, and healing.
She possesses degrees in Art as well as Education, and holds a master’s degree in Museum and Gallery Studies. She served as an educator for more than twelve years and exhibited her art from coast to coast in the U.S. More than anything, she focuses on her purpose of sharing the power of neuroarts and how communities benefit from aesthetic experiences. Britta spends her time between Canada and the U.S. with bases in Seattle and Vancouver.
